For customer-specific parts, a reliable request starts with unambiguous documents. In particular, we need the valid drawing revision, the material, relevant tolerances, surface requirements and the required quantity. Operating conditions and the required inspection characteristics can also be decisive for further clarification.
If a non-disclosure agreement is required before you send documents, please contact us first without any confidential material. Please mark confidential documents accordingly.

Product families
These product families are listed on Traydon’s previous website. They are intended as guidance; whether a specific version can be sourced is clarified for each request.
- Parts made to drawing, e.g. shafts, pinion shafts, pump shafts, toothed bushes
- Gear parts made to drawing: spur gears, bevel gears, worm wheels, ring gears, planet carriers
- Turned and milled parts in aluminium, steel, stainless steel, brass or copper
- Shaft protection sleeves with hard ceramic or carbide coating
- Deflection and wire guide rollers with wear-resistant coating, wire and thread guides
- Wear parts: ceramic parts, carbon brushes and brush holders, drawing dies
- Rolling tools and rollers, conveyor systems, plastic parts
The condition of goods (new, used, reconditioned or compatible replacement) and their origin are stated per item in the quotation.
Typical applications
For guidance only, not as a statement of suitability:
- Replacing parts for which no catalogue part exists (any longer)
- Wear parts in wire, cable and steel processing
- Single parts and small batches to your drawing
What we need for a request
The more complete the details, the more clearly the required version can be identified. Not every detail is available for every part – send whatever you have.
| Detail | What it is used for |
|---|---|
| Drawing with revision level | Binding geometry |
| Material | Material number or specification |
| Tolerances and fits | Function-critical dimensions |
| Surface and coating | e.g. roughness, hardness, wear protection |
| Inspection characteristics and documentation | Which certificates and records are required |
| Batch size | Single part, small batch or call-off requirement |
| Operating conditions | Load, temperature, medium – to clarify open points |
Documents, photos and nameplate
- Drawing as a PDF (valid revision level clearly visible)
- Photos of the existing part if no drawing is available
- Sample or inspection requirements
- A note on whether documents are confidential
How your request is handled
- Send your requirement: provide a part number, a photo of the nameplate, a drawing or a parts list.
- Clarification of details and sourcing options: we review your information and get back to you if anything is unclear.
- Response and, where applicable, a quotation: you receive a response to your request. A request is not an order.
We do not quote general processing or delivery times. Dates are agreed for each individual request.
What we do not promise across the board
- Design engineering or strength calculations for the part.
- Adding missing dimensions without your approval.
- Deliveries abroad are subject to review under export control and sanctions regulations.
Custom manufacturing and installation are available on request.
Frequently asked questions
Which drawing revisions are needed?
The valid, released revision with a visible revision index. You may include older or incomplete revisions as well, but they should be marked as such so that open points can be clarified specifically.
How are confidential documents handled?
Uploaded files are not stored publicly but in a protected area and are only opened by authorised staff. If a non-disclosure agreement is needed, please contact us first without sending documents.
Can I send a request without a drawing?
Yes, with photos and dimensions of the existing part. Whether a part can be sourced on that basis depends on the information available and is clarified case by case.
