Hydraulics & pneumatics

With hydraulic and pneumatic components, the exact version determines whether a part fits the existing plant. Manufacturer, type designation, pressure range, connections and operating medium are therefore key details for your request. For valves, the nominal size or mounting pattern and the type of actuation also matter; for electrically actuated components, add the coil voltage, current type (AC/DC) and connector version.

Please provide existing part numbers as completely as possible. A clearly legible photo of the nameplate, the installation dimensions or the previous data sheet help to distinguish between different versions.

Product families

These product families are listed on Traydon’s previous website. They are intended as guidance; whether a specific version can be sourced is clarified for each request.

  • Hydraulic components: pumps, hydraulic motors, valves, manifold blocks, cylinders and cylinder components, accumulators, flow dividers, heat exchangers, tanks, filters, power unit components
  • Tube and pipe connections: tube fittings, flared fittings, tubes, adapters, flanges, mounting accessories
  • Hose technology: hoses, hose fittings, ferrules, hose protection, metal hoses
  • Fastening technology: pipe clamps, hose clamps, cable ties
  • Couplings, high- and low-pressure ball valves, straight-way valves
  • Measurement technology: pressure gauges, gauge connectors, measuring systems
  • Sealing technology: O-rings, sealing rings
  • Compressed air technology: couplings, push-in fittings, hose tails, blow guns, connectors for plastic tubing
  • Spare parts for compressors

The condition of goods (new, used, reconditioned or compatible replacement) and their origin are stated per item in the quotation.

Typical applications

For guidance only, not as a statement of suitability:

  • Replacement parts for the maintenance of existing machines and power units
  • Components for conversions or extensions of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Connection, piping and fastening material for installation work

What we need for a request

The more complete the details, the more clearly the required version can be identified. Not every detail is available for every part – send whatever you have.

DetailWhat it is used for
Manufacturer and full type designationUnambiguous identification of the version
Operating pressure or pressure rangeSelecting the pressure rating of valves, hoses and fittings
Flow rateSizing parameter for pumps, valves and lines
Medium and temperatureSelection of materials and seals (compatibility is not assumed)
Connections and threadsFit with existing lines and components
Nominal size or mounting pattern (e.g. to ISO 4401)Replacing directional valves on an existing subplate
Type of actuation, coil voltage, current type (AC/DC), connectorElectrically actuated valves

Documents, photos and nameplate

  • Photo of the nameplate (legible, without reflections)
  • Photo of the installation situation and the connections
  • Previous data sheet or hydraulic circuit diagram, if available
  • Required quantity and unit

How your request is handled

  1. Send your requirement: provide a part number, a photo of the nameplate, a drawing or a parts list.
  2. Clarification of details and sourcing options: we review your information and get back to you if anything is unclear.
  3. Response and, where applicable, a quotation: you receive a response to your request. A request is not an order.

We do not quote general processing or delivery times. Dates are agreed for each individual request.

What we do not promise across the board

  • Interchangeability with existing components – this is checked for each request, not assumed.
  • Media compatibility of seals, hoses and materials without the manufacturer’s specification.
  • Pressure and temperature values beyond the manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Delivery dates and availability without a specific request.

Frequently asked questions

Which nameplate data are needed?

Manufacturer, full type code, the serial number if applicable, and pressure and flow rate data. For valves, also the nominal size, coil voltage and current type. A photo of the nameplate is often enough as a starting point.

Which differences prevent a direct replacement?

Typical reasons are different connections or threads, a different mounting pattern, a different coil voltage, different pressure ratings or seal materials. This is why we check such points for each request.

Can I send a request without a complete part number?

Yes. Describe the part, provide the details you have and attach a photo of the nameplate or a drawing. Incomplete items are taken on for clarification, not silently completed.

How do I indicate that an alternative would also be acceptable?

In the request form, select “An alternative may be offered” for the item and state the properties that must be retained. Without this information, we request the version you specified.
