For electric motors and geared motors, the nameplate data on rated voltage and frequency, connection, rated current, degree of protection, thermal class, efficiency class and any brake or encoder also help. For mechanical components, dimensions, material and version can be decisive.

Which details identify a geared motor?
Manufacturer, full type designation and the nameplate data of the motor and gearbox: power, speeds, gear ratio, mounting arrangement, voltage, frequency, connection, degree of protection, and brake or encoder if fitted.
Which dimensions matter for a coupling?
Bore diameter and keyway of both shafts, size, installation length and the torque to be transmitted. When replacing an existing coupling, the manufacturer’s designation helps.
How do I indicate that an alternative would also be acceptable?
In the request form, select “An alternative may be offered” for the item and state the properties that must be retained. Without this information, we request the version you specified.
Where can I find information on a specific delivery date?
Delivery dates depend on the version, the source of supply and the quantity. They are stated in the quotation or in the response to the respective request, not as a general figure on this website.
