Traydon sourced two 5-axis machining centres of different sizes, each with freight as part of the order. With machines, the model is only part of it: transport, installation and connection belong in the plan from the start.

What 5-axis machining offers
A 5-axis machining centre moves tool and workpiece along three linear axes and two rotary axes. A part can be machined from five sides without re-clamping.
Less re-clamping means fewer sources of error and shorter lead times, especially for complex milled parts such as housings, moulds or turbine components.
Information for a machine request
- travel ranges and largest workpiece (dimensions, weight)
- control, spindle speed and tool interface
- tool magazine size
- footprint, machine weight and power supply on site
- transport, packaging and requested delivery terms
